Q&A: Did anyone get the Free Verizon Ringtone to work for New Year’s Eve?

Query by J: Did any mortal get the Free of charge Verizon Ringtone to function for New Year’s Eve?
I texted the range to get a free ringtone from Verizon and got a text back saying to keep my cellphone “in the open place or go to VCAST to obtain your message.” I kept the cellphone open and by no means received another message to get the ringtone, and I can’t get to VCAST on my telephone. Is there a secret to this, or did I do it incorrect??

You mean the ones that have been on the new year’s count down on television? As far as i know, they in no way sent individuals to all my shut friends with verizon.
